Gausnell, O’Keefe & Thomas is delighted to announce the promotion of Jim Ribaudo from Associate to Partner. Jim joined our team from day one, and has worked his way up the ranks to this position, setting himself apart as a skilled and smart coverage and appellate lawyer.
Jim is a graduate of Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, and St. Louis University School of Law. He has recently been included in the 2023 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch List and is a member of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and the International Association of Defense Counsel.
Jim leverages his vast knowledge and experience when assisting other attorneys in litigation, such as drafting dispositive motions, jury instructions, and post-trial motions. Jim is a key player on the Gausnell, O’Keefe & Thomas team, and has numerous favorable outcomes under his belt while handling a variety of appeals on behalf of insurers and insureds. His extensive research and writing experience, in addition to an up-to-date understanding of the ever-changing Missouri statutes and case law, has given him the background required to handle a variety of appellate cases.
Whether the dispute concerns motor vehicle accidents, vicarious liability, or real property, Jim applies his talents and knowledge to ensure the trial proceedings were fair and that the law was correctly applied. His dedication to appellate work exemplifies his care for the clients he represents.
