"A St. Louis native, Ashlyn D. Calhoun received her J.D. from The University of Missouri Columbia School of Law in 2019. At Mizzou Law, Ashlyn was a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Dispute Resolution, the Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, and a 1L Moot Court Director among a host of other involvement. Ashlyn was published twice in law school, received an award for Best Student Publication, and was a decorated moot court competitor. Ashlyn competed in Nationals for the Black Law Students Association Moot Court Team, where she and her partner placed in the Top 8. Ashlyn and her partner won best brief at the Black Law Student Association Regional Competition in Chicago. Her last semester of law school, Ashlyn was inducted into Order of the Barrister's, an honor bestowed upon the top oral advocates at law schools around the country. Prior to law school, Ashlyn attended Illinois Wesleyan University where she completed her B.A. in Psychology in 2016. While in law school, Ashlyn served as an intern for the Community Economic Development Program at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and as a legal intern at Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. Ashlyn was admitted to the bar in September of 2019."
