Ty J. Feeney was raised in St. Charles, Missouri. His passion for the law stemmed from the encouragement of his mother, who always told him to use gifts and opportunities to help others. After graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from the University of Missouri, Ty went on to obtain his J.D. with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law from Saint Louis University. While in law school, Ty furthered his professional and scholarly pursuits by working part time for two law firms and a nationally recognized moving and transportation company, being elected the Chairperson of the Honor Council, advocating for and successfully amending the law school’s Honor Code for the first time since its inception, completing the maximum amount of independent research available to law students, publishing a scholarly article in the inaugural edition of the George Washington University Journal of Law and Technology, receiving an academic excellence award for achieving the highest grade in Patent Law, and other achievements. Ty completed his J.D. in May 2024 and thereafter passed the Missouri Bar Exam in July 2024.

Ty worked alongside In-House Counsel for a national moving and transportation company for the first year and a half of law school. He then worked for multiple well known and respected civil plaintiffs’ attorneys until May of 2024 when he made the move over to civil defense. For the next year he worked for a well known civil defense attorney and learned how to manage a case from intake to closing.
