Zachary T. Walker was raised in Blue Springs, Missouri, right outside of Kansas City. His passion for the law stemmed from his time on the debate team in high school and his experience as captain of the Mock Trial Team at the University of Central Missouri. After graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Central Missouri, Zachary went on to Law School at the University of Missouri-Columbia. There, he spent his time supporting competitive advocacy by being elected the Interschool Competition Director of the Mizzou Board of Advocates. Zachary sharpened his skills for oral advocacy as a member of the school’s competitive mock trial team, becoming the first 1L in Mizzou Law history to compete at nationals. He also refined his ability to advocate as an associate member and associate editor of the Missouri Law Review. Ultimately, Zachary was inducted to the Order of Barristers for his advocacy accomplishments when he completed his J.D. in May of 2023.
