Congratulations to GOT’s Director of Operations Jodi Flieg for being recognized by Missouri Lawyers Weekly in their special edition honoring “Unsung Legal Heroes” in the Firm Administration category.
Jodi tackles a wide range of daily challenges, opportunities and experiences—from IT, HR, training, marketing, building management, coordinating volunteer opportunities, recruiting and many other tasks as they arise throughout the day.
She describes one of her key accomplishments in her Director of Operations role as witnessing the professional growth of new team members. “I strive to come into the office with a positive attitude and foster an environment of inclusion, camaraderie and collaboration, while providing encouragement, training, and tools to help everyone at the firm succeed.”
When asked about the best part of her job, she describes the wonderful people she calls her GOT family. “I am surrounded by staff and attorneys that inspire and motivate me. I enjoy going into the office to see them, talk with them, and laugh with them every day.”
Jodi began her legal career as a legal assistant at 19 years old. Between then and now she has held several different positions which she believes has strengthened her awareness and ability to assist the staff and attorneys in the different day-to-day challenges that arise in the legal world.
