Gausnell, O’Keefe & Thomas is happy to announce Jaylen Henderson has joined the growing GOT team.
Jaylen was born and raised in St. Louis and earned his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law after graduating from Millikin University with his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He is currently a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the American Bar Association.
At Millikin University, Jaylen participated in the Black Student Union, History and Political Science Club, and the Model Illinois Government. At SLU, Jaylen was President of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, Secretary of the Health Law Association, member of the Black Law Student Association and the Student Bar Association. He says law school taught him that adaptability is key to success not only in law school but in life.
In his free time, he enjoys slow pitch softball, traveling, and reading. Jaylen has accumulated a total of over 500 community service hours over high school and college volunteering at the Humane Society of St. Louis and volunteering as a youth sports coach assisting at the KWDAA, Outlaws Baseball Club, Rebels baseball Club, and Tulsa Elite Softball Club.
