Gausnell, O’Keefe & Thomas is happy to welcome Andrew Wachter and Delaney Nelson to the firm as law clerks.  We are also excited to welcome back Tiwa Adedibu, who originally joined us in May 2024 and will continue clerking.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Andrew earned his B.S. in Business Economics, graduating cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a focus in analytics. Returning home for law school, he attended Saint Louis University School of Law, where he was recognized for academic excellence in taxation. Andrew brings a well-rounded background, having clerked at both criminal and civil law practices and interned in the legal department of a regional grocery retailer. Read more about Andrew here

Delaney is originally from Peoria, Illinois and now resides in St. Louis. She attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Political Science and double minored in Business Administration and Pre-Law. She is currently attending St. Louis University School of Law with an expected graduation date of May 2025. During her tenure at SLU Law she was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholar Scholarship. She was also accepted into the SLU Law Civil Advocacy Clinic which provides free legal representation for underserved clients. She has also gained valuable experience working in criminal defense and civil litigation throughout her educational career. Read more about Delaney here.  

Tiwa Adedibu joined us in May 2024, and continues to clerk for us.  She is originally from Lagos, Nigeria and is currently a law student at Saint Louis University School of Law specializing in International and Comparative Law. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Law & Society from Purdue University. Tiwa has gained legal experience both domestically and internationally, doing a semester field placement at Bayer and as a Summer Associate at Mason Hayes & Curran in Dublin, Ireland. She is a Dean’s Scholar at SLU Law and is also actively involved in the International Law Association, and the Black Law Students Association.

The mentorship from our experienced attorneys and exposure to a wide range of legal issues significantly enhance their professional development. As they finish their time as 3Ls, they do so with an expanded wealth of practical knowledge.
