In May of 2018, M. Colleen LaVelle received her J.D. from the St. Louis University School of Law with a concentration in Health Law. Throughout law school, Colleen was a student member of both the Health Law Association and the Women Law Student Association. Prior to law school, Colleen attended the University of Missouri— Columbia completing her undergraduate degree with a B.A. in Political Science and Minors in both Psychology and Classical Humanities. Colleen’s prior legal experience involved representing indigent clients at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. She also served as an intern for the Office of Chief Counsel identifying and meeting the legal needs of the Department of Veterans Affairs and as a law clerk for private firms concentrating in family law and criminal law. Colleen was admitted to the Missouri Bar in February of 2019.
