Tyler is originally from Edwardsville, IL. He graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Political Science. Shortly after graduation, he enrolled at the Southern Illinois University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2015 with a specialization in Business and Transactional Law.
In law school, Tyler enjoyed his time working in the SIU Civil Practice Clinic where he provided free legal services to elderly residents of Southern Illinois. He was also a summer law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge Clifford J. Proud in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
Prior to joining Gausnell O’Keefe & Thomas, Tyler worked as counsel for a small real estate development company in Denver, Colorado. In this role he gained experience in general liability, construction, and contract litigation. Outside the office, he enjoys playing golf, exercise, cooking, and spending time with his new fiancé, Natalee, and their dog, Charlie.
